At The Massage Hut & Spa, we are committed to providing high-quality treatments in a safe, professional, and relaxing environment.


Please take a moment to read our policies before booking.

Nothing in these policies affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

These policies are in place to ensure fairness, safety, and the best possible experience for all clients.

💷 PRICING & PAYMENTS​

  • All prices are clearly displayed and are per person, unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are correct at the time of booking and may be updated for future bookings.

  • Some treatments, courses, memberships, or packages require a deposit or full payment at the time of booking. This will be made clear before payment is taken.

  • Any remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of treatment.

⏰ CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Standard Appointments

  • Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time without charge.

  • Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours may result in the loss of any deposit paid.

  • Same-day cancellations or failure to attend an appointment may result in a 100% charge.

Online Bookings

  • Website bookings can be amended online within the permitted timeframe shown at the time of booking.

  • Deposits paid online are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours.

These terms are in line with UK consumer law, which allows businesses to retain deposits where reasonable notice is not given and the appointment cannot be reallocated.

⏳ LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

  • Clients arriving up to 15 minutes late may still receive their treatment; however, the treatment time may be shortened to avoid impacting other scheduled appointments.

  • The full treatment price will still apply, even if the appointment is shortened due to late arrival.

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a no-show, and the appointment may need to be cancelled or rescheduled.

  • In such cases, standard cancellation charges apply, including potential loss of deposit or full treatment charge.

We always aim to accommodate clients where possible, but punctuality ensures a smooth experience for everyone.

 

📦 COURSES & BUNDLES

  • Courses and bundles must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

  • Courses are non-refundable once commenced.

  • Courses must be used within the stated validity period (typically 6–12 months, unless otherwise stated).

  • Missed appointments within a course are subject to the standard cancellation policy.

  • Courses and bundles are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

🔁 MEMBERSHIPS

  • Memberships are billed monthly and include treatments as outlined at the time of sign-up.

  • Treatments included in a membership must be used within the applicable month and cannot be carried forward unless agreed in writing.

  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Minimum commitment periods apply where stated and will be clearly communicated before joining.

🎁 GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 or 12 months, depending on the voucher purchased.

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Expired vouchers may be reactivated for a limited time upon payment of a reactivation fee.

  • Gift vouchers are treated as advance payment for services and are subject to availability.

🧠 CONSULTATIONS & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • All clients are required to complete a consultation form prior to treatment.

  • Clients must provide accurate and complete health information.

  • The Massage Hut & Spa reserves the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe.

  • Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect treatment outcomes and liability.

✨ TREATMENTS & RESULTS

  • Treatments are provided for wellbeing, relaxation, and cosmetic purposes only.

  • Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Treatments do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or care.

  • Temporary effects such as redness, sensitivity, or mild soreness may occur following certain treatments and are considered normal.

🔴 ADVANCED & SPECIALIST TREATMENTS

  • Advanced treatments (including chemical peels, microneedling, and cupping therapy) require suitability assessment.

  • Clients must follow all aftercare instructions provided.

  • We are not responsible for adverse effects resulting from failure to follow aftercare advice.

🕯️ EAR CANDLING DISCLAIMER

  • The Wellness Ear Candling Ritual is a relaxation-based wellness service.

  • It is not a medical treatment and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

  • Clients with existing ear conditions should seek medical advice before booking.

⚠️ LIABILITY

  • We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by negligence.

  • We are not liable for adverse reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed.

🚫 RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

The Massage Hut & Spa reserves the right to refuse service where:

  • Treatment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

  • Policies are not adhered to

  • Behaviour is unacceptable

This does not affect a client’s statutory rights.
